Online Quran Classes for Ladies

Online Quran Classes for Ladies, Planned Around Your Day

A woman's day is often full from early morning to late at night. There are school runs, work, meals, small children and older parents. A weekly trip to a class across town is hard to keep up. A 30-minute lesson at home is much easier.

Our classes run 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You pick a fixed time, and your tutor keeps it for you each week. You can study after Fajr, in a lunch break, while the children are at school or after they are asleep. Weekend classes cost the same as weekday classes.

Plans change, and that is fine. Tell us before a class, and we move it to another time in the same month.

Learn in Private with a Woman Tutor

Every class is 1-on-1. No one else joins the call. Ask for a female tutor when you book, and we keep that choice for your whole course.

Many women find it easier to read out loud to another woman. You can ask any question, even a very basic one, without feeling shy. You may also keep your camera off. The tutor corrects your reading by listening, and the Quran page is shown on the screen.

Our female tutors have the same training as our male tutors. They pass the same reading test and teaching test before they teach. They explain in English, Arabic or Urdu, so you can learn in the language you know best.

Every Course Is Open to Sisters

Female tutors teach every course we offer. You can start at any level and move to the next course when you are ready. These are the courses sisters can take:

  • Noorani Qaida: learn the Arabic letters and sounds from zero. Adults often finish in about 3 months.
  • Quran Reading with Tajweed: our ladies' Tajweed classes help you read smoothly and by the rules. Your tutor fixes each mistake as you read.
  • Hifz: learn the Quran by heart, with a new lesson and revision every day. This is for women who can already read with Tajweed.
  • Tafsir: learn the meaning and the lessons of the verses you recite.
  • Arabic: understand the words of the Quran, starting from the letters.
  • Daily Duas: learn short prayers for each part of the day, with their meaning.

Ladies' Tajweed Classes: Fix Your Recitation

Some sisters can already read, but they know their recitation is not quite right. Maybe some letters sound the same. Maybe the long and short sounds get mixed up. Tajweed classes fix this one rule at a time.

You read a few verses, and the tutor listens closely. The tutor shows you where in the mouth each letter comes from. You learn when to join sounds, when to stretch them and where to stop. You say a word again until it sounds right, and then you move on.

Most students read smoothly and by the rules in 6 to 12 months, at 3 classes a week. If you only need to fix a few rules, you can finish sooner.

Class Times for Mothers and Working Women

We set every class in your own time zone, whether you live in the USA, the UK, Canada or Australia. You never have to work out the time difference. We also handle the clock changes for summer time, not you.

Choose the time that suits your week. Here are some times that can work well:

  • Early morning, after Fajr and before the house wakes up
  • Late morning, once the children are at school
  • A lunch break on a work day
  • Late evening, after the children are asleep
  • Saturday or Sunday, at the same price as a weekday

Starting Again After Years Away

Many women learned to read the Quran as girls and then stopped. Years later, the letters feel strange and the rules are gone. This is very common, and there is no shame in it.

Your free first class shows where you are now. The tutor listens to you read and finds the right level. Some sisters start again with the Qaida. Others go straight to the Quran and only need to fix a few rules. Either way, you do not repeat what you already know.

New Muslim sisters are welcome too. You can start with the letters. You can also add Prayer Lessons to learn wudu (washing before prayer) and salah step by step.

What Happens in a 30-Minute Class

Every class follows a simple shape, so you always know what comes next. The tutor shows the page on the screen and follows each word as you read.

  • A few minutes of revision from the last class
  • New reading or new verses, with the tutor fixing each mistake as you go
  • A short recap of the rule or lesson of the day
  • A small task to practise for 10 minutes a day until the next class

A Class for You, Another for Your Daughter

Many mothers want to learn and also want their children to learn. Each person gets her own private class at her own level. A mother's class and a daughter's class are never mixed, so no one waits for anyone else.

If you book for your children, the second and third child pay a lower fee. Ask us for a family price when you book. Girls can have a female tutor too, and parents may sit in on any of their classes.

You can book your classes one after the other. That way, the whole family's Quran time is done in one part of the evening.

Same Fee with a Female Teacher

A female tutor costs the same as a male tutor. Every class is 30 minutes, live and 1-on-1. You pay each month by card, PayPal or bank transfer, in your own currency. There is no sign-up fee and no contract.

Changed your mind? Ask within 7 days of paying, and we refund every class you have not taken. You can pause or stop with 1 week's notice. Here are the monthly plans:
