Who Writes Our Pages

The Salam Campus team writes and publishes every page on this site. We work from our office in Islamabad, Pakistan. We have taught the Quran online since 2016.

You trust us with your learning, or your child's. So you should know how the words on this site are made. That is why we wrote this page.

We sell Quran classes, so we want you to join. Please keep that in mind when you read our guides. Our guide on how to choose an online Quran academy says this too. It gives you checks you can use on any academy, including us.

How We Use AI Tools

We use AI tools to help us write and check our pages. They help us draft the text and look for mistakes.

AI tools can make mistakes too. So facts about our classes, fees and rules come from our own records. We do not let an AI tool decide them.

For other facts, we use public sources and link them where we can. The table below shows how this works.

Where Our Facts Come From

Not every fact comes from the same place. This table shows where each kind of fact comes from:

Where each kind of fact on our pages comes from
Kind of factWhere it comes from
Fees, plans and class timesOur own records. See our fees.
How we hire teachers and keep children safeOur own rules and records. Read how we check every teacher and how we keep children safe.
School dates, clock changes and local rulesThe official school or government page, linked on the page. Some older pages do not have these links yet. We are adding them.
Sources for a guideMost blog posts list their sources in a Sources box at the end of the post.
Tajweed rulesOur guides on madd, noon sakinah and tanween and meem sakinah follow the Hafs from Asim reading. It is the reading in most printed copies of the Quran. Each guide says so.

How We Handle Religious Topics

Our pages teach how to read the Quran well. They also cover a few basic things that Muslims widely agree on, such as the Arabic letters, Tajweed rules and the five pillars of Islam.

We do not give rulings (fatwas). If your question needs a ruling, please ask a qualified scholar you trust.

On some things, like parts of wudu, the schools of thought differ. There, we say so and tell you to ask your local imam or a scholar you trust.

How We Fix Mistakes

We can get things wrong. If you see a mistake on any page, please tell us:

Tell us which page it is and what looks wrong. We will check it. If you are right, we will fix the page and change its date.

When We Update Pages

Many of our pages show an Updated date near the top. Blog posts show the day we first published them. If we changed a post later, they also show that day.

We change a date only when we change the words on the page. We never change a date just to make a page look new. The date at the top of this page works the same way.

What We Never Do

These are our promises to you:

  • We never write fake reviews. This site shows no reviews until real families write them.
  • We never make up a teacher. We show no teacher's name or life story until that teacher agrees to it.
  • We never show student numbers, awards or star ratings that we cannot prove from our own records.

Try a free class. You risk nothing.

It is hard to choose a Quran teacher online. So we made the first step free. Every step after it is easy to undo.

Parents may join any class. You can listen in from the next chair.
