Who We Are

Salam Campus teaches the Quran online to children and adults. Most of our students live in the USA, UK, Canada and Australia. We started as a small group of teachers. We taught private students over video calls. Then we grew the way good academies grow. One family told another family about us, and that family told the next one.

Today we have a team of male and female tutors. Together they teach 9 courses. Many students start with Noorani Qaida (a first book that teaches the Arabic letters). Next comes Quran reading with Tajweed (the rules for reading the Quran correctly). Some students then do Hifz (memorizing the Quran). Others study Tafsir (the meaning of the Quran) or the Ten Qirat (10 accepted styles of recitation). We also teach Arabic, daily duas (short prayers), Islamic studies for kids and prayer lessons. Each lesson is live, with one student and one tutor. We do not run group calls. We do not sell recorded lectures.

A small office and quality team works behind the teachers. They set class times. They find a cover tutor when a teacher is away. They check lessons. They also send parents a short written report each month. Is something not working? Call us or send a WhatsApp message. A real person will answer, not a ticket system.

How We Teach

Each student follows the same path at their own speed. Beginners start with Noorani Qaida. They stay with it until letters, vowels and joining come easily. Then they move on to the Quran itself. The tutor fixes their Tajweed line by line. Students who want to memorize move to a Hifz plan. Each day they get a new lesson. They also do 2 kinds of revision: recent lessons and older lessons. This way they do not forget.

Lessons are 30 minutes long. The limit is attention, not time. Think of a child who reads for half an hour, 3 or 4 times a week. That child learns faster than a child in 1 long class each week. After each lesson, the tutor writes a short note. The tutor also sets a few minutes of practice. The next class starts exactly where the last one ended.

One student, one tutor, one screen. Parents are welcome to sit in.
Fixed weekly class times in your own time zone. You can move a class if you tell us early.
Tajweed is taught by correcting, not by lecturing: read, repeat, fix, repeat.
A written progress report every month from the quality team.

Our Teacher Standards

Teaching the Quran is a trust, so we hire slowly. Each tutor goes through 4 steps. First, we interview them. Next, we test their recitation and Tajweed. Then we watch them teach sample lessons. Last, we train them to teach children and adults over video. Fewer than 1 in 5 people who apply will join us. Male or female, each tutor uses the same course plan. Each tutor also gets the same review every month.

01

Qualified

A Hafiz (someone who knows the whole Quran by heart). Or a Qari (expert reciter) or Alim (scholar) from a known institute. We check their certificates before the first class.

02

Trained Online

Finished our own course on teaching over video. It covers pace, correction and how to keep a 6-year-old interested for 30 minutes.

03

Multilingual

Fluent in English plus Arabic or Urdu. Your family gets lessons explained in the language you find most comfortable.

04

Reviewed Monthly

The quality team checks lessons and student feedback every month. Tutors who fall short do not continue.

Where Our Students Are

Most of our students live in 4 countries. For each one, we set up 2 things. You pay in your local currency. And our tutors work in your local mornings, evenings and weekends. Families in other countries are welcome too. We give you a price in your currency. Then we find a class time that fits your day.

What We Believe

The Quran should be read the way it was revealed. So Tajweed is at the center of all we teach. It runs from the first Qaida lesson all the way to Ijazah (a certificate passed from teacher to student). We also believe learning should be kind. A patient teacher and a steady pace help a child more than pressure does.

We judge ourselves on 3 things. Do students read correctly? Do they keep coming to class? Can parents see what has changed each month? Accuracy, consistency and care are not just words to us. They are what the quality team checks.

Have a question? Email info@salamcampus.com or see our online Quran courses and fee plans. You can find answers to common questions on our FAQs page. Are you a qualified tutor? You can apply to teach with us.

Frequently Asked Questions

Salam Campus is an online academy. Every class is a live video call, not a class in a building. Our students are children and adults in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Australia. We have local billing for each of these countries. Families in other countries are welcome too. We give you a price in your currency. Then we match you with a tutor who can teach in your time zone.

Each tutor is a graduate of a known Islamic institute, a Hafiz or a qualified Qari. Before they teach for us, they pass a recitation test and an interview. Then they teach sample lessons while we watch. After that, they finish our own training on teaching children online. Once they start, the quality team checks their classes and parent feedback every month. Tutors who do not meet the standard do not keep their students.

Yes. A large part of our teaching team is female. Sisters, girls and young boys can ask for a female tutor when they book the trial. Our female tutors have the same qualifications as our male tutors. They teach every course we offer, from Noorani Qaida to Hifz and Tafsir. All their lessons are private and one-on-one.

We hold ourselves to 3 things. Each class has one student and one tutor. Each student has a fixed weekly routine in their own time zone. And each family gets an honest written report every month. We do not run group calls or sell recorded lectures. We do not move students to a new tutor without asking first. Our fees are listed in 4 currencies, with no registration fee. And every family starts with a free trial.

We offer 9 live courses. They are Noorani Qaida, Quran reading with Tajweed, Quran memorization (Hifz), Tafsir and the Ten Qirat. We also teach Arabic, daily duas, Islamic studies for kids and prayer lessons. Students can move from one course to the next with the same tutor. Adults can also take 2 courses in one weekly timetable.

You will see it, and you will read about it. Parents are welcome to sit in on any lesson. The tutor writes a short note after each class. Each month, the quality team also sends a progress report. It shows what your child covered, what was tested and what comes next. If your child is stuck, we tell you. Then we change the plan, so no months are wasted.

Book a free trial using the form or by email. Tell us the student's age and level. Also give us 2 or 3 times that suit you. We will then book a 30-minute trial lesson with a good tutor for you. We usually confirm it within 24 hours. The trial is free. We do not ask for card details, and you do not have to continue.
