Online Quran Classes FAQs

Online Quran Classes

Beginners start with Noorani Qaida, the first book for reading Arabic. They learn the letters, short vowels, joining and basic Tajweed sounds. Next, they start to read short surahs (chapters of the Quran). The teacher corrects them as they read.

Keep the same class times each week. Practice for 10 minutes a day between lessons. Read the monthly progress report, so you know what to work on next.

Yes. In a 1-on-1 video lesson, the teacher can hear each letter. The teacher fixes mistakes right away. This is just what Tajweed needs.

You do not need to travel. You get a private teacher and class times that suit you. The teacher fixes how you say each letter, week after week. You can also choose a male or female tutor.

Yes. Lessons are private and move at the student's own speed. So a 4-year-old and a working parent can both learn with ease.

Yes. We do not run group classes. Each student has the teacher's full attention for the whole lesson.

Our teachers cover 9 subjects. They teach Qaida, Quran reading with Tajweed, Hifz and Tafsir. They also teach Ten Qirat, Arabic and daily duas. The last 2 are Islamic studies for kids and prayer lessons.

They start with Qaida. Then they read the Quran verse by verse. The teacher corrects each rule when it comes up. Over time, the rules become a habit.

Yes. Short daily reading between lessons helps a lot. It turns fixed mistakes into smooth, sure reading. Teachers give a small practice task after each class.

Tell us before the class, and we will move it to another time in the same month. A class missed with no warning still counts. So please let your teacher know early.

Yes. A student who finishes a course and passes the final test gets a certificate. Salam Campus gives one for each course.

Quran Class Fees

Plans start at USD 40 a month for 2 classes a week. Plans with 3, 4 or 5 classes a week cost more. Hifz has its own plan. Our fees page shows prices in USD, GBP, CAD and AUD. There is no fee to sign up.

No. The trial lessons are free, and there is no fee to sign up. You only pay the monthly fee for the plan you choose. Your first payment is due after you take the trial and choose your tutor.

We bill fees each month. You can pay by card, PayPal or bank transfer in USD, GBP, CAD or AUD. Each month, you get a bill in the student portal. You can change your plan or pause it with 1 week's notice.

Yes. Families with 2 or more students pay a lower price for the second plan and each plan after it. Ask us when you book. We will give you the family price in your own currency.

Yes. Weekend classes cost the same as weekday classes. Many families choose Saturday and Sunday times.

Quran Teachers

Each tutor is a Hafiz (knows the whole Quran by heart) or a trained Qari (expert reciter). Before joining, they pass a recitation test and an interview. They also teach sample lessons for us. Each month, a quality team checks classes and student feedback.

Many sisters feel more at ease with a woman. With a female tutor, it is easier to recite out loud and ask questions. The class stays 1-on-1 the whole time.

Yes. Each tutor is trained to teach Tajweed rules step by step. They also fix how the student says each letter while the student reads.

Yes. Ask for a female tutor when you book, and we will match you with one. Classes are private and 1-on-1.

Yes. Each week, our teachers work with adults who start from the first letters. They keep a calm pace, so adults never feel rushed.

Our team speaks English, Arabic and Urdu. Tell us which language you like best. We will match you with a teacher who speaks it.

Yes. Students keep the same tutor for each lesson, so their progress does not break. Is the tutor ever away? Then a trained backup teacher takes that class. Your usual teacher comes back for the next one.

Technical Requirements

You need a laptop, tablet or phone with good internet. You also need a quiet place to sit. We send you the class link. We also share any Qaida or Quran pages you need, so there is nothing to buy.

You can use Zoom or Google Meet, whichever you like. Both are free, and we send the class link before each lesson. The tutor shows the Qaida or Quran page on screen. The tutor also marks progress as the student reads.

Yes. A phone or tablet works well for reading and Hifz lessons. But a bigger screen makes the shared pages easier to see. Headphones help the tutor hear each letter clearly.

Any steady home internet or 4G is enough for a 1-on-1 video call. Is your internet weak? Then the tutor can switch to audio and share the screen, so the lesson goes on.

The tutor waits for you to come back online. Any lost time is added to that class or made up in the same month. If the problem keeps happening, the tutor tells our support team. Then we can help you fix it.

No. Each class is live and private. Parents who want to follow progress can sit in on the lesson. They can also read the monthly progress report in the student portal.

Getting Started

Yes. The trial is a full 30-minute one-on-one lesson with a certified tutor. There is nothing to pay. We do not ask for card details. You only choose a monthly plan if you decide to continue after the trial.

Children can start from about age 4 with Noorani Qaida. The tutor uses short tasks and lots of praise, so young learners stay interested. Adults of any age are welcome too. This includes complete beginners and new Muslims.

Your time zone. Our tutors are available 24 hours a day, so we book the trial in your local time. This works whether you live in New York, London, Toronto or Sydney. Tell us 2 or 3 times that suit you. We will confirm the earliest one we can.

The tutor sends you a short note. It gives the student's level, the course we suggest and how many classes per week to take. If you are happy, pick a monthly plan and keep the same teacher. If not, you can ask us about a second trial with another tutor. Or you can simply stop, with no obligation.

Try a free class. You risk nothing.

It is hard to choose a Quran teacher online. So we made the first step free. Every step after it is easy to undo.

Parents may join any class. You can listen in from the next chair.
