Class Times in Gulf Standard Time (GST)

The UAE keeps Gulf Standard Time (GST), which is UTC+4. The clocks do not change in summer or winter. So a class you book for 4:00 pm stays at 4:00 pm all year.

Our classes run 24/7, so you choose the hour. Our office in Islamabad (PKT) is 1 hour ahead of the UAE. Pakistan time is UTC+5 and does not change either. The middle column below is only a clock converter. You always book in your own time.

The UAE Week: Weekend, Friday Prayer and Work Hours

The UAE does not have one work week for everyone, and your class time depends on yours. These facts come from u.ae, the official UAE government portal:

The governments of Abu Dhabi, Dubai and Ajman use a week like the federal one, says u.ae. For many families, that leaves Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday free for a longer class. Sharjah government staff also have Friday off. Tell us what your week looks like, and we pick the slot around it.

Friday prayer has a set time too. From 2 January 2026, the national Islamic affairs authority put Friday prayer at 12:45 pm. Sharjah kept its own Friday prayer time when the rest of the UAE changed it in 2022, so check the time in your own area. If your family prays together on Friday, tell us. We keep that hour free.

The School Year 2026 to 2027: Dates for Planning Classes

The UAE Ministry of Education sets one school calendar for public schools and for private schools that follow its curriculum. Here is the calendar. A school with another curriculum may have other dates, so check with your school. These are the dates most families plan around:

The winter break is the longest. It gives a child almost 3 weeks to try a new routine before Term 2 starts on 4 January. Some students use it to add a class or two each week, or to start Hifz. In the summer break, tell us 1 week ahead if your family travels. You can pause your plan and start again when you are back.

Ramadan 2027 in Dubai: Expected Fasting Hours

Ramadan 2027 is expected to start around 8 February and end around 8 March. The moon sighting decides the real days. The times below are expected times for Dubai from a public timetable. They are not final. The UAE Islamic affairs authority posts the official times before Ramadan.

In Ramadan, private companies cut the working day by 2 hours, says u.ae. You may want a class after iftar or before Fajr. Classes run 24/7, so any hour works. Tell us your Ramadan times a few weeks early, and we move your slot.

Quran Classes Near Me in the UAE: Online, at Home

Many people in the UAE type "Quran classes near me". We have no centre, mosque or school in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah or Ajman. So we do it the other way round. The class comes to your home. You join a live video call on a laptop, tablet or phone, and the teacher shares the page on screen.

Hifz Classes Online for UAE Families

Some UAE families want a child, or themselves, to learn the Quran by heart. This is called Hifz. A Hifz class is longer than a standard class. It runs 30 to 60 minutes. The Hifz plan costs Regular price $175, now $123 a month 30% off for 20 classes.

Plan the start around the school year. Term 2 begins on 4 January, so the winter break is a good time to build a daily habit first.

Teachers, Languages and Classes for Ladies

Arabic is the official language of the UAE, says u.ae. Our teachers can explain in Arabic, Urdu or English. Tell us which one you want on the trial form, and we match you with a teacher.
