Salam Campus is an online Quran academy. We give live one-to-one classes to students in the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and other countries.

We are the data controller for the information in this policy. This means we decide how your data is used, and we are responsible for it.
We collect only what we need. We use it to answer your questions, run your classes and send your bills. It falls into 3 groups.

These services set cookies. They collect your IP address, your type of device, the pages you visit and the site you came from. Google may join this with other data it holds. Google does this under its own privacy policy.

We record classes for 2 reasons. First, to check the quality of teaching. Second, so we can play a lesson again if a parent has a worry.
We store recordings safely. Only our quality team and coordinators can see them. We delete them after a set, limited time. We never publish them. We never share them outside Salam Campus.
Do you not want your classes recorded? Tell us in writing. We will turn off recording for your account. Please note that some quality checks will then not be possible.

We store personal data on systems with controlled access. We send it over encrypted (secure) connections. Only staff who need the data can see it. No online service can promise total security. But we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version. We will post any big changes on this page. If you keep using our services after a change, it means you accept the new policy.
It is hard to choose a Quran teacher online. So we made the first step free. Every step after it is easy to undo.
Parents may join any class. You can listen in from the next chair.
