Your Parent Portal: Track, Choose and Manage Online Quran Classes

What the Parent Portal Is

The parent portal is your own page for your child's online Quran classes. You sign in at lms.salamcampus.com. The first screen is a dashboard. It shows each child, their next class, their progress and anything that needs you.

Your tutor has a portal too. After each class, the tutor writes a note there. The note reaches your portal the same day. So you always know what was taught, even if you were not in the room.

Here is what you can do from the portal:

  • See progress and class notes for every child.
  • Choose what your child learns next, in the order you want.
  • Ask for a different teacher, a new class time or a leave.
  • See invoices, payments and receipts.
  • Enrol another child.
  • Let your child practise Qaida between classes.

Track Progress and Class Notes

What you see: one card for each child. The card shows the course, the lesson they are on and how far they have come. Under it is a list of class notes, one per class. A note tells you what the tutor covered, what went well and what to practise at home.

What you can do: open any past class to read its note. Compare this month with last month. Use the notes to help your child practise before the next class. Our monthly report is built from the same notes.

Set Lesson Priorities Yourself

What you see: a curriculum picker. It lists the subjects, the courses in each subject and the units in each course.

What you can do: pick the subject first. Then pick the course. Then put the units in the order you want. If your child already knows a unit, skip it. The tutor follows your order from the next class. You do not need to ask anyone or wait for approval.

For example, you could put reading practice before new lessons in Ramadan. Or move a Surah forward because your child wants it for prayer.

Ask for the Teacher You Want

What you see: a requests area. One request type is a teacher change. You can ask for a female tutor, a tutor who speaks your language or simply a different teaching style.

What you can do: send the request from the portal. We set up a trial with a new teacher within a week. Your child's progress record moves to the new teacher, so no lesson is repeated. The same area has a time-change request, a leave application and a complaint form.

See Fees, Invoices and Receipts

What you see: a fees page with every invoice. Each one shows the month, the amount, the currency and whether it is paid. A ledger report lists every payment, and you can open a receipt for each one. A subscriptions page shows your plan and how many classes a week it includes.

What you can do: check which invoice is open, open a receipt for your records or see what you paid this year. To change or pause your plan, give us 1 week's notice, as our refund policy explains. Prices are on the fees page.

Enrol Another Child in Minutes

What you see: an add-student form in the requests area.

What you can do: enter the child's name, age and level, and the times that suit you. We set up a free trial for the new child. After the trial, the child appears on your dashboard with their own card, teacher and progress record. The second and third child pay a lower fee.

Practise Qaida with Interactive Lessons

What you see: a Qaida practice area made for children. It covers the letters, their sounds and how they join, in short exercises.

What you can do: let your child practise between classes. Ten minutes a day makes the next class easier. The tutor sees the same Qaida in class, so home practice and class time match.

Try a free class. You risk nothing.

It is hard to choose a Quran teacher online. So we made the first step free. Every step after it is easy to undo.
